There were fewer fare dodgers in public transport in June than in May

Statistics of „Rīgas satiksme” about ticket inspections in Riga city public transport in June 2016:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Trams	952
Trolleybuses	1691
Buses	2394
Total:	5037
including:
Fine receipts	1226
Fine bills	3811

It is by 1603 fare dodgers less than in May 2016, when 6640 passengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Number of ticket inspections in public transport:
Trams	3117
Trolleybuses	7158
Buses	10 672
Total:	20 947

Just to compare – there were 25 052 ticket inspections in May 2016, which is by 4105 inspections more than in July 2016.

In June 2016, the maximum number of fare dodgers (401) was fined in trolleybus route No. 15, and the minimum number on bus routes No. 34, 35 and 47 (two on each route).
